HopeWorx Inc. respects your right to control your personal information. No matter where you live, you may make the following requests about the personal information we hold about you:

• Right to Opt Out: You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time using the link in any message we send. You can also decline analytics and performance cookies through our cookie banner or your browser settings.

• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not deny you services, treat you differently, or retaliate against you for exercising any of these rights.

Depending on where you live, laws such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Virginia Consumer Data Protection Act (VCDPA), and the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA) may give you additional rights.

How to Submit a Request

To exercise any of these rights, email us at privacy@hopeworxinc.org or reach us through our Contact Us page. Please include your name, the email address you used with us, and a description of your request. An authorized agent may also submit a request for you if they provide written permission from you.

How We Verify Your Identity

To protect your information, we will verify your identity before we act on a request. We will usually do this by matching the details you give us to the information we already hold, for example by confirming your request from the email address on file. If we cannot verify your identity, we may ask for more information or decline the request. We will use any information you give us for verification only for that purpose.

Our Response

We will acknowledge your request and respond within 45 days. If we need more time, we will tell you why and when to expect a response. If we decline your request, we will explain why and let you know how to appeal the decision.
